If you wash large pans or rinse a deep sink, yes, and you will use it daily. If your sink is shallow and you mostly fill kettles, a fixed spout is less to go wrong. The hose is the part that eventually fails on a pull-out, so it is a genuine trade rather than a straight upgrade.

Check the height with the window in mind too. High swivel spouts are excellent for filling tall pots and are the usual regret when the sink sits under a window that opens inward. Measure the clearance above the sink before ordering.

Most modern mixers are single hole, single lever. If you are replacing an older two-hole set you may need a deck plate to cover the spare hole, or a new worktop cut. Check what your sink or worktop already has.

For a pull-out spray, yes. Low pressure makes a spray head feel weak in a way a plain spout does not. If your flat is known for soft pressure, factor that in before paying for the spray function.
