IGLOO — Ice Maker & Water Purifier

IGLOO is a countertop water purifier with an ice maker built into the same body, so purified water and clear ice come from one appliance rather than two. Ice is made from the purified water itself, not from the mains.

Ice making

• Transparent, tulip-shaped ice cubes dispensed at a touch of the sensor
• Ice tank capacity 0.52kg
• 250mm of height under the dispenser, enough for a 1.5L jug or container

Three water temperatures

• Cold 2°C, Ambient 27°C, Hot 96°C
• Toggle with a tap on the touch sensor
• LED indicator changes colour with the setting — blue for cold, green for ambient, red for hot

Four stages of filtration

• Stages 1 and 2: carbon composite filter removes rust particles and suspended solids, and a three-stage method takes out dissolved particles that physical filters cannot
• Stage 3: RO filtration through a semipermeable membrane removes heavy metals, bacteria and organic chemical contaminants
• Stage 4: dissolved gases and odours are removed for taste

Auto cleaning

• Self-cleaning system — no dismantling required
• Water is kept moving through the system so it stays fresh between uses
